History: The town of Paradise Valley is Arizona's wealthiest municipality and the wealthiest suburb of Phoenix. It is known for its luxury golf courses, elegant shopping, and vibrant restaurant scene. Beginning as mainly an agricultural and cattle grazing area, it was incorporated in 1961 and the name was chosen due to the abundance of spring wildflowers and palo verde trees.
